bleacherbummed: This Old Cub gets into the Hall of Fame Receiving 15 of the 16 HOF votes, Ron Santo gets into the Hall of Fame by the Golden Era veterans committee. With his #10 flag flying on the left field foul pole and Santo himself calling it “His Hall of Fame”, he now can add Hall of Famer to his legacy. There has been a lot of talk about “Why now? Why not back then?” and about him getting in after his passing. But nonetheless, this is well deserved and it’s better late than never. This is for you, Ronnie.
